CONNIE BARTOLOTTA
FOR TRUSTEE

I spent my childhood in Chicago, a city where community is built on the strength and traditions of its neighborhoods and the dedication of its public servants. My grandfather was a Chicago Fireman, and from him, I learned that true leadership isn't just about making decisions—it’s about showing up when it matters most.

I’ve been working as a program manager in telecommunications and healthcare since the 1990s. I’m currently employed by Mayo Clinic where I’m responsible for implementing strategic priorities and programs including digital transformation and hospital expansion initiatives. I have a Master of Public Health degree from
Emory University and Bachelor of Arts degree from Eckerd College.

I spent many years living in the Tampa Bay area, where I raised my son, attended college, and built the foundation of my professional career. In 2022, life brought me to a new chapter. My husband Al and I moved to Fairport.  The move was a homecoming for Al. For me, it rekindled fond memories of my northwest Chicago neighborhood, because it looked a lot like Fairport.

That neighborhood was a short distance away from farmland, forests, and a walkable Main Street. When I arrived in Fairport, the unique sense of place, the gorgeous rolling hills, and the tight-knit community immediately resonated with me.

Al’s family roots run deep in Fairport.  His grandparents immigrated from Sicily in the early 1900s to build a life here. His grandfather owned a nursery and the family home on the very site where the Fairport Electric building stands today. Knowing that his father grew up on that land gives me a profound respect for our local history and the way our Village has evolved while staying true to its heritage.

Fairport is a welcoming place, and I am incredibly proud to call it home.

Why I’m Running

As a lifelong Democrat, my values are rooted in the belief that government should be a force for good, focused on protecting and advancing the interests of its citizens. I am running to ensure that the Village of Fairport is committed to this mission. The citizens of Fairport deserve nothing less.

I am running to see to it that Village government is open and accountable to its citizens. I am running to ensure that the decisions, plans and policies of the Board reflect the interests and priorities of the people who are paying for them to be there.

Proven Results
I am a professional problem-solver. My career has been defined by a high standard of fiduciary responsibility in the management of large-scale healthcare programs where efficiency and transparency are non-negotiable. During my time at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, I oversaw the implementation of health technology programs designed to make sure our veterans received the care they deserved through proven delivery systems provided on time and on budget.

 

At Mayo Clinic, I am responsible for managing interdisciplinary teams and large budget programs to improve health outcomes for our patients and operational efficiencies for our staff. This experience has provided me with a unique skillset and perspective I can apply in my role as a trustee to ensure the tax dollars of our residents are expended effectively and responsibly.​
